As I started uploading some of my illustrations for sale on this site, I ran across a few that I had forgotten about that I really liked. The picture "Hitting the High Notes" was one that I hadn't posted anywhere before. I don't know why. It's a pleasant surprise to run across something you've make that you feel holds up well.
I have been making a living for many years as a performer, and had a backlog of pictures I've drawn, with no real way to put them up for sale. What could I do, have a book printed and sell them at shows? Find an art store to run off copies of my favorites, then find an online site to sell them? This site seems to fit the bill. My drawings seem perfectly suited to coffee cups and t-shirts, and a few even for an art print or two. We'll see how it goes. I'm a few days in, and have uploaded 45 pictures. I've been making clean scans and doing some minor editing to remove spots and such. I'm very appreciative of the friends who have told me they've ordered something. So as we continue in this lockdown state due to COVID-19, I hope all of you have the opportunity to do some of the projects that you've never had time to complete. Be bold, be victorious, my friends!
